Good Morning Lovelies!
Somehow, someway, October got away from me and I didn’t post nearly as much as I had planned. October is always a super busy month filled with travel and visits from friends, and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way. This past weekend in particular was especially sweet because Brian came to visit! Long distance is hard ya’ll, it’s definitely not my favorite… but now we are counting down to a year until our wedding! We are so excited! 1.19.19 cannot come soon enough! But 1.18.19 will be here even sooner, and so today, I’m talking about Rehearsal Dinners and what to wear in the Fall!
Well, the obvious hint is… probably don’t wear white! If you are attending a rehearsal dinner as a guest, it is probably because you are either a key part of the ceremony (bridesmaid, groomsman, reader, etc), or you are a close friend or family. It’s important to remember that this is a super special occasion and it’s also the bride’s day to wear white! When one of my favorite friends Jill, got married in June, she wore the most gorgeous and fun white dress to her rehearsal and she looked absolutely darling… the rest of us stayed away from white and it made for a super cute picture with Jill as the center!
With a summer wedding, it is easy to look chic and put together with a simple summer dress… in the Fall (especially depending on your geographic location) it can be a little bit harder to look chic and put together while still allowing yourself to feel warm!
Personally, I don’t think you can go wrong with tights, a nice pair of black heels and a midi length dress or skirt. I might be completely biased right now because I am LOVING the midi trend, but I just know that some (lots) of you might prefer a shorter skirt with a longer sleeve. Regardless, there are super cute options for every body type! I’ve linked some of my absolute favorite skirts and dresses below (some a little more pricey, and some less than $50!):

Thank you so much for reading, I always have so much fun thinking about Wedding things!
Oh and PS… feel free to play your Michael Bublé Christmas album on full blast now, Happy November!
